Designed to work with 13.56 MHz RFID, the smart card reader supports Mifare 1k, Mifare 4k, UltraLight, DesFire, NFC and NTAG203 cards. The reader has an Ethernet interface for connection to the main system via LAN. Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) can be used to power the device, which greatly simplifies installation efforts. The device communicates via HTTP commands. The reader offers two-color LED signaling along with an acoustic output. A relay output is available to control external devices such as door locks.

The reader is typically designed for wall mounting in residential areas. It can also be used in production halls for the management of production workers. Wide range of power supply with PoE support makes it easy to install individual modules. Communication with the superior system is performed using standardized HTTP commands. This implementation simplifies the superior system software. The reader provides the possibility of securing the transmitted data. Of course there is also the possibility of updating software reader software via USB service connector, which is located under the device cover. Two-color green / red LED signaling and acoustic output can be controlled using documented HTTP commands.
